Summer program workshop
The Girl Step Up Foundation will host a selective, structured Summer Program Workshop for high school students (girls) who have successfully completed a formal application and interview process.
This is not a basic enrichment program. It is a comprehensive, curriculum-based leadership and workforce development initiative delivered by experienced professionals across multiple disciplines.

Workforce Program
Led by a University of Southern California Master of Public Administration alumna. This pillar equips students with practical workforce readiness skills necessary for post-secondary success and career advancement.
Components Include:
- Career pathway exploration
- Resume and cover letter development
- Mock interviews with structured feedback
- Professional communication skills
- Workplace etiquette and accountability standards
- Goal Setting and career mapping

Leadership Program
Led by a U.S. Army Retired Lieutenant Colonel. This component focuses on principled leadership and strategic development.
participant engage in:
- Strategic thinking exercises
- Accountability frameworks
- Executive presence training
- Decision making simulations
- Ethical leadership principles

mentorship
Led by a Washington University alumna in Neuroscience. Mentorship is delivered through structured guidance sessions designed to strengthen character and long term planning.

- College and career navigation guidance

Health & Wellness
Led by a University of Kansas medical student. This pillar incorporates evidence based approaches to mental resilience and overall wellness.
Topics Include
- Stress management strategies
- Emotional regulation techniques
- Building mental resilience
- Physical wellness awareness
- Healthy habits for long term performance
