Summer program workshop

The Girl Step Up Foundation will host a selective, structured Summer Program Workshop for high school students (girls) who have successfully completed a formal application and interview process.

This is not a basic enrichment program. It is a comprehensive, curriculum-based leadership and workforce development initiative delivered by experienced professionals across multiple disciplines.

Attend at least 90% of sessions
Complete pre and post assessments
Participate in mock interviews
Complete a personal career development plan
Demonstrate professional conduct

Led by a University of Southern California Master of Public Administration alumna. This pillar equips students with practical workforce readiness skills necessary for post-secondary success and career advancement.

  • Workplace etiquette and accountability standards

Led by a U.S. Army Retired Lieutenant Colonel. This component focuses on principled leadership and strategic development.

Led by a Washington University alumna in Neuroscience. Mentorship is delivered through structured guidance sessions designed to strengthen character and long term planning.
